Jody Witty

About Jody

Jody Witty has been a long time member of the Midwest Penguins family. After coaching club with Milwaukee Express, Jody joined Midwest Penguins in 1998- the second year of the organization. She has coached boys and girls ages 11-18 and has also coached a 35+ team to the US open. She has also coached middle school girls and boys and is IMPACT, CAP I and CAP II certified. 

Jody has officiated at the collegiate, high school and club (adult and junior) levels. She has officiated national qualifiers for club, college and state tournaments for Girls and Boys. She officiated the Division III high school girls state final in 2015. 

Jody was a three sport athlete in high school and is in the Athletic Hall of Fame at New Berlin West High School. She was a walk-on collegiate volleyball player at University Wisconsin Madison and eventually earned a scholarship. She transferred to Northwestern medical school where she received her degree in physical therapy and also earned a masters in Health Care Administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet Illinois. At St. Francis she was a warded a meritorious service award given to one student every year. 

Her favorite volleyball moment came on Court 7 at Center Court when she coached her team to a victory after being down 20-4.

She helped build an accessible playground in New Berlin in 2016 and is also a graduate of the New Berlin Citizen Police Academy.She is a founding member of the pilot program of the International Latin American Concern  where she took 14 Physical Therapy Students from Creighton University to the Dominican Republic on a mission trip to treat the people in seven different locations. 

In her spare time, Jody likes to sew and do counted cross stitch and also spend time with her five nephews.
